MY AVAILABILITY
If you are interested in booking my support for your pregnancy & birth, usually around 12 to 25 weeks is ideal, because I can be booked up to 4 to 6 months in advance. Having said that I do frequently take on clients after 25 weeks if I have availability.
It's always worth contacting me, to see if I am free for your due date, as more often than not, from our first conversation a
spark of a deep connection is ignited, which leads to the most beautiful positive birth experiences for clients.
I usually take between 2 to 4 clients a month, depending on due dates, sometimes as shared care with another Doula.
After our initial face to face or zoom consultation, I give prospective clients up to a week to decide whether they want to go ahead
with booking. This is so I can facilitate my availability fairly, as I always have other prospective clients waiting to hear if I am free for their dates. You can check my availability for the month of your due date & get in touch with me via the contact button below.
WHEN HIRING A DOULA
it is so important to really think about what you are looking for in a Doula, what kind of support you need & whether they have the experience & knowledge to support you in the birth experience you are hoping for. Do they make you feel, nurtured, cared for, listened to, confident & reassured. Can they provide you with the clear information & the Antenatal Education you were hoping for? Most importantly do you a similar outlook & ethos & do you feel a warm connection. Being invited into someones sacred birth space is a privilege & an honour. It's so important you feel comfortable & safe with whoever you invite into your space.
No 2 Doulas are the same, we all come with our own specialisms & ethos. And the service we provide will also vary, depending on our individual experience, training & knowledge. I myself have supported hundreds of women & couples through pregnancy & birth. My service has evolved to include even more skilled support & a deep understanding of birth over that time as my knowledge & experience has grown. What I am able to offer is above & beyond the usual standard doula support & training.
Alongside having had 5 babies myself, I have gained first hand insight for what is needed to have a positive fulfilling birth experience. I put my heart & soul into supporting my clients, a lot of thought & consideration goes into what I provide in my services & what expectant & new parents tell me they really need
It is part of the reason why I will be taking on less births in 2024 & spend time running more classes & mentoring more new doulas. Because I want to be able to reach even more women & couples with what I provide, as I've seen how beneficial the particular support & information I provide is to expectant & new parents. I feel I offer & have created something really unique & special in my services, you just won't get anywhere else. My dedication & commitment to supporting my clients individual needs & wishes, I believe is why the demand for my client focused doula services remains consistently high. I have managed for the last 6 years to run & maintain a highly successful heart centered doula business with many repeat clients & previous clients I am still in regular contact with years later. It is such a joy to continue to see their little ones grow.
MY BOOKING PROCESS
After our in person or Zoom consultation, I would be delighted if you feel I am the Doula for you!
I will send you a confidential Client Profile Form to fill in which will generate an agreement between us including what support you feel you need & outlining my services to you, according to the Birth Package you feel is right for you.
All of your details are protected by GDPR & I am happy to sign an NDA for my High Profile Clients.
FOLLOWING BOOKING
Once the booking paperwork is complete, I will send you a Welcome Pack PDF. We can then start to arrange dates for our Antenatal Sessions. Which involves in-depth Birth preparation adapted to your needs. I will be available to you for support, consultation or any questions 24/7 from booking & up to 8 weeks after your baby is born. I will go 'On Call" for you 10 days before your due date & be with you throughout your Labour & Birth. I will only leave once you both you & your baby are comfortable & you feel you are ready for me to do so. I will visit you in the first 2 weeks after your baby is born for any support you might need, to discuss & reflect on your birth experience & for me to admire your beautiful baby.
